It was a partly cloudy day, enough light to shoot at a medium aperture and fast shutter speed. To get the reflection of the cliffs in the wet sand, I had to run back and forth with the waves … good exercise.

I had left my tripod in the car, so I took this photo hand holding my camera. I wanted to stay at ISO 100, which forced me to open up the aperture all the way. With a wide aperture I was able to take this photo at 1/250 second, more than enough to keep it [...]

I took this around the middle of a bright sunny day, there wasn’t much I could do about the high contrast. I just tried to expose properly for the midtones and figured I would invariably lose detail in the brightest and darkest areas.

This photo was taken with my old point and shoot digital camera. It could shoot up to 30 seconds on timer, and this photo only needed 8 seconds.
