Here are a couple of photos of my neighbors’ flowers which I took today with the Tamron AF 17-50mm F/2.8 XR Di-II LD SP ZL Aspherical (IF) Zoom Lens. Both photos were taken wide open at f/2.8. The top photo was taken at ISO 100, 1/200 second, 50mm focal length. For that photo I brought the lens as close to the flower as it could focus and zoomed in all the way; the flower is about 2 inches across. The bottom photo was taken at ISO 100, 1/500 second, 40mm focal length – check out the bokeh.

Sunset Over Santa Monica Beach
NICE photos!
Are these photos retouched at all with photoshop or any other software? Or are they “raw” image files straight from your camera?
Thanks, I am glad you like them. As with most of the photos I post, these were post processed with Photoshop. Nothing too fancy, just the usual tidying up – a little increase in the contrast, the brightness, and the saturation, and a little white balance correction.
