This photo of Ponte Rialto was taken in the late afternoon.  I was intending on shooting the bridge from this spot for sunset, but as the sun was setting I didn't particularly like how the light was looking.  So I took a few shots from here before moving on and ended up on the bridge for sunset, shooting the canal.
